Money and jewelry were taken when a home was burglarized near Arendtsville last week, according to Pennsylvania State Police (PSP).

No one was home during the Oct. 7 burglary in the 500 block of Narrows Road, according to PSP.

“It was discovered later that day that the home was broken into and thoroughly searched,” said police.

Stolen items included a gold necklace with a family charm valued at $300, a wallet that had been hidden in a dresser and was valued at $200, and $110 in loose bills that were in a glass bottle, police said.
